What makes me excited to code?

Creating and enhancing software to help people is what I do. Passion for learning and improvement has always been important to me. In university, I studied pharmaceutical sciences and proceeded to work in healthcare, but did not believe it was my true calling. Only after graduating, and seeing how my websites can help a business grow, and let a person have an accesible, pleasant viewing experience, did I realize I can help others through technology.

Between work and pursuing my own outside interests, I have seen just how much the right technology can help people every day. I leverage my healthcare experience, and analytical approach from studying medicine, to build those products and improve the world a little bit at a time.

Web3 app built with Next.js and Hardhat; connects to ETH blockchain. When active, users can buy NFTs via a smart contract.

A webapp made for Game of Thrones fans. I built the API that the app uses to obtain data based on the client-side requests.

I love learning and keep up with current and upcoming industry tools, frameworks and trends. I'm most comfortable with the MERN JavaScript stack but always happy to add a new tool to my belt!

When I'm not coding, I enjoy pick-up basketball, studying history, and learning new recipes — I hear I make a great kimchi stew!
